Book Synopsis
The year is 1929, and newlyweds George and Serena Pemberton travel from Boston to the North Carolina mountains where they plan to create a timber empire. Although George has already lived in the camp long enough to father an illegitimate child, Serena is new to the mountains—but she soon shows herself to be the equal of any man, overseeing crews, hunting rattle-snakes, even saving her husband's life in the wilderness. Together this lord and lady of the woodlands ruthlessly kill or vanquish all who fall out of favor. Yet when Serena learns that she will never bear a child, she sets out to murder the son George fathered without her. Mother and child begin a struggle for their lives, and when Serena suspects George is protecting his illegitimate family, the Pembertons' intense, passionate marriage starts to unravel as the story moves toward its shocking reckoning.

Movie Synopsis

Well the two actors in this movie are not strangers to each other. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper have been in two other movies together. Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle and they have another movie coming out that they are both in called Joy.

Oh we all know Mr. Bradley Cooper and love him. He was in Silver Linings Playbook , American Hustle , The Hangover movies , and The Place Beyond the Pines . His up coming projects are: The Untitled Cameron Crowe Project , Serena, The Untitled John Wells Project and Joy .
Jennifer Lawrence as Serena Pemberton
Jennifer has exploded onto the acting scene and is more popular than ever. She will be producing her first film "The Glass Castle" which is still in development so there isn't much on IMDB to read about yet. But I guarantee we will do a post on that Book to Movie. Man this lady has been busy. She has finished filming "Mockingjay Part 2" and is in pre production for "Joy" playing Joy Mangano and "X Men: Apocalypse" playing Raven.
