I know, we should be talking books at book club. And most of the time we do. Really. But you can't get a group of gals together without dishing about the latest show, what 's going on in Whitney's life, where Kellie got those fabulous shoes, and what lipstick Jen is wearing. Which brings me to the point of this post - NEW stuff you can't live without. Shhh. Only tell these to your favorite people. We wouldn't want everyone to look and feel this fab.
1.) LIPSENSE - Since I am not the makeup guru of the group, I tend to listen in on the gossip when it comes to any kind of beauty product. When the girls started talking about this new lip product, I had to know! Lipsense is a lip color that is waterproof, does not kiss-off, smear-off, rub-off or budge-off! Now the price tag on this baby is $25 for a tube, but from my experience it is down right worth it! You can get it from a distributor near you, Amazon, or I even found a place online that sells it at a discount (www.lipcrazediscount.com - about $20).
2.) ZOODLE MAKER - Now if you been following us for a while, you know we love food just about as much as books (or maybe more, it's a toss up!). This next product has been around for a while, but it has recently received my attention because this post-baby body needs to shrink! It makes noodles out of vegetables. I did some research on these babies and even though the original zoodle maker is still cool, the one that I love because the zoodles are consistent in size is the Spiralizer Tri-Blade Vegetable Slicer. Believe me. You are going to love this one and so will your hips.
3.) THE MISSION BELT - Most of us gals don't wear belts with every outfit, but our husbands, boyfriends, brothers, and kids do! This belt is amazing in so many ways - there are no holes, it fits anyone, the leather never cracks, and there's some philanthropy involved too (Every belt sold means $1 is given to help someone in need. How cool is that!?). The owner survived Shark Tank too, so that just makes them even cooler. Check out this cool video about how they work:
4.) SOCKS FROM COPPER ROBIN - We love baby feet. Seriously, who doesn't! Of late, we've had an influx of book club babies. Like a new baby every month. It's crazy! What those little baby toes need are cute socks and our favorite ones that NEVER fall off and are oh so cute come from Copper Robin. Take a look at some of their cute designs. I mean, come on. I personally have 4 pairs for my new little angel and we love them! I need more. Copper Robin also sells cute jewelry, clothes, and home decor.
My little skinny 3 month old wearing her Copper Robin socks! Her legs are so skinny and small that her socks are more like thigh highs :) |
5.) TINY PENDANT NECKLACES - It used to be that bigger was better. All the necklaces were huge, colorful and super fun, but times are a changin'. Small gives just the the right amount of bang, especially in the jewelry department. Does that mean all large necklaces are out? No, not at all, but we are loving the sweet little charms or pendants on necklaces. My favorites right now come from Unforgettable Jules.
UnforgettableJules.com has the perfect pendant necklaces for you! |
How can you not love a Llama necklace or a pineapple? I can't even get over the flamingo charm necklace they carry! The fun part is finding one that fits your personality.
6.) DISON V6 CORD FREE VACUUM - I don't work for Dison, but I totally should! I have been recommending this Dison v6 baby to everyone. When fellow book-clubber, Julie, had one and started using it to clean her wood floors after book club a few month back, I had to take pictures! It works for all floor types and is Dison, so you know it's going to last forever. With a price tag of around $300, it's not the cheapest vacuum, but it well worth the money when even your six year old can use it to clean the floor after dinner.
I'm really sorry I told you about these fun new products because if you're like me, you HAVE to have them now. Your wallet may not like it, but your life will :). Spread the gossip - this kind is the good kind. I hope you enjoy!
XoXo,
