After discussing books 1-6 in one night we decided we would discuss book 7 the next day and really spend some quality time on it. Our book club member, Erika, was in charge of book 7 and came up with an incredibly interactive and creative way for us to relive the book! We playing a game she made up herself that split us all into 4 teams going on a Horocrux hunt!
Guys... Erika put SO much time and energy into this game, it was amazing!
Lucky for you, she has agreed to make it available to anyone who's daring (or nerdy enough like us) to use it for their own personal use!

First off let's talk about the different decorating elements you can bring in from book 7.
{Decorations}
Erika made this amazing sign that we all had to sign to show our love and support of Harry just like the other witch's and wizards did in Godricks Hollow.
You can never have too many owls.
Of Course you need the Horocruxs!

Erika put us in teams and handed out all the things we would need for our adventure.
Erika even had us "dive" into the freezing lake in the woods to retrieve the Sword of Gryffindor!
I'm telling you, there was no detail left out.
Finding Doby deceased on the beach and having to bury him brought tears to our eyes...
we were not expecting the grief that came but when we read his last words to Harry well, it was emotional.

Next we had to sneak into Bellatrix's vault at Gringotts to steal Helga Hufflepuff's cup without knocking over any cups that would reproduce if touched!
We went upstairs towards the end where we could read obituaries for everyone who'd lost their lives in the battle of Hogwarts. We had to read a letter about it that put us all into tears once again.
Here you can see some of the tools we used as well as the Horocruxs they lead us to.
Here's a photo of the amazing creator of this game.
Bravo Erika!
The top two fastest teams elected one person to represent them for the final test to see who would win the cauldron full of prizes!
Once the question was asked, who ever grabbed the golden snitch first was allowed to answer.
Ready,
set,
GO!
Some of the prizes!
As always, we hope this inspires you to read and really dive into books and follow along with us each month!
